Audrey completed her law degree at the University of New South Wales, Australia together with a bachelor of commerce. She is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Australia and New Zealand. Audrey started her legal career working at a law firm in Sydney. Before she joined Loo & Koo, she was a registrar for a number of years at the Family Court at Auckland. Audrey is originally from mainland China and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Audrey is passionate about all aspects of family law and family litigation (application for parenting orders, non-removal of children from New Zealand, relocation and guardianship matters, protection orders, relationship property, spousal maintenance, CYFS and PPPR matters, and dissolutions of marriage or civil unions). She has extensive experience with the Court system and her areas of practice are advocacy in contentious matters, including employment and business disputes, tenancy disputes, general civil litigation, sale and purchase of residential or commercial properties or businesses, all matters relating to the setting up and managing of family trusts, companies and charitable trusts, and drafting wills and enduring powers of attorney.
Outside of work, Audrey enjoys reading and spending quality time with her young children and family.
